Scripture Passage: Ephesians 1:18 (NIV)
“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.”
In Ephesians, the Apostle Paul writes to believers in Ephesus, encouraging them in their newfound faith. His words in verse 18 are part of a prayer, asking God to give them wisdom and understanding so they can fully grasp the hope they have in Christ. Ask yourself: Are there areas in my life where I need God’s light to shine more brightly? Do I truly see the hope and inheritance He has for me, or do my spiritual “eyes” need clearing? Let this verse encourage you to seek God’s perspective daily.

Today’s Prayer: Lord, open the eyes of my heart to see You clearly. Illuminate my understanding, so I can fully grasp the hope You’ve given me and live in the joy of Your promises. Help me to walk in Your light, with a heart open to Your wisdom and guidance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
